Because the gaps are specific, the fix can be specific too. One-on-one tutoring lets me pinpoint the exact missing rung and rebuild from there, instead of re-teaching a whole year.
I begin with a diagnostic to find where understanding actually breaks down, then teach the underlying concept — not just the trick to pass the next quiz. The goal is real understanding that holds up as the math gets harder.
